Can I add swap out my 500 watt power supply to this ? I have 2 @ 4GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24) sticks, can I add them ? I have a ATI Radeon RX550/550 video card, can I add it ?
It's not recommended to replace the power supply. It's a proprietary dell power supply and most other units may not fit in the slot they designed for it. As far as the ram goes I'd check the dell technical guide for the OptiPlex 7010 and see if your ram is compatible. Your graphics card should be fine as long as the right bracket is on it for the form factor you're purchasing. Also, just a FYI there is no 6 or 8 pin power for a GPU.
